American scientist of Indian descent receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Indo-American scientist Dr Vivek Lall recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Ritossa Family Summits in Dubai.

“Your Lifetime Achievement Award is well deserved and I congratulate you on your many accomplishments, which make our world a much better place. I look forward to hearing more as you continue to make waves around the world with your incredible work, ”said Sir Anthony Ritossa at the awards ceremony.

Dr Lall, who is known to have played a key role in improving defense trade between India and the United States and was instrumental in some of the major agreements between the two countries, received the award in recognition of his “exceptional vision, dedication and success,” a media outlet said on the release.

The award was presented to Dr Lall in the presence of the Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, Dr Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

Also in attendance were the young emerging business tycoon Sheikh Mohamed Bin Ahmed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, a member of the ruling family of the United Arab Emirates and Princess Martha Louise, daughter of King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway.

The event brought together influential world leaders.
